I love weddings.
In all of photography, there is no greater honor than to be asked to capture a couple's special day. I am always flattered to be selected, and I take great care to capture the essence of the day - the feel of the room, the cheerful mood of the crowd, and the sometimes funny but always special moments between the bride, the groom and their family and friends. It is a day like no other, and when you look back twenty years from now, I want you to remember all the special things. I begin with that goal in mind.
I approach each wedding with a shot list - one that we'll work out together - but in the back of my head I've got another list that's a bit more fun - grandpa on the dance floor or kids doing cartwheels on the lawn. While the kiss is important, so much of the wedding lies beyond those brief formal moments, and those are the moments that define the day - the moments that breathe personality into your wedding, and make it your's alone.
I shoot photojournalism style. I use a long lens and hang back a little. This allows me to capture those moments. I do shoot formals, and because you have me for the day, I'll do "getting ready" stuff as well. I work with an assistant, which allows me to do all of this and keep my wits about me.
I typically charge a daily rate of $800. That includes me for the day, all my editing time, and all your edited images on a disc. You can order high-quality prints from this my site very inexpensively.
I would love to share your day with you. I promise to treat it as though my own daughter were getting married. Meaning, I'll cry a little, but at the end of the day everything that I see will be your's to keep forever. That's what I can give to you. Give me a call.
